Ep. 127 - Armor of God Series Ep. 7: The Sword of the Spirit

In Episode 7 of the Armor of God series, we study the final piece of armor found in Ephesians 6 — the Sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God. Unlike the other pieces of armor that protect us defensively, the sword is the believer’s only offensive weapon in spiritual battle.

In this episode, we discuss the power of Scripture, how Jesus used the Word of God to defeat temptation, and why it is essential for believers to know and correctly apply the Bible in their daily lives. We also recap the six pieces of armor and challenge listeners to make the intentional choice to put on the full armor of God every day.
