Ep. 124 - Armor of God Series Ep. 4: The Shoes of Peace

In this fourth week of our Armor of God series, we study Ephesians 6:15 and what it means to have our feet “shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace.”

Using the picture of uncomfortable shoes (yes—even at a Luke Bryan concert!), we explore how life without God’s peace leaves us unsteady and distracted. Just as Roman soldiers wore sturdy sandals for stability and traction in battle, we must wear the gospel of peace so we can stand firm against the enemy and move forward with confidence.

In this episode, we talk about:

• What the “gospel of peace” truly means

• How we can experience peace even in spiritual warfare

• How peace gives us stability (defensive)

• How peace helps us move forward (offensive)

Even in the middle of battle, God offers a peace that “passes all understanding.” When we are secure in Christ, we are not crippled by fear or anxiety—we are grounded, ready, and equipped to carry the good news wherever He leads.

God bless from our hearts to yours,
