Ep. 103 - Faith without Favoritism | James Series Ep. 6

Have you known people that just hang around certain people for the status or notoriety it gives them? What about at church, have certain members been treated differently than others because of their societal status? Showing favoritism to some while neglecting others has been an issue since the beginning of time and it’s what James will be addressing in the lesson we are teaching today.

We will be diving into chapter 2 today looking at verses 1-12. We have all been guilty of showing favoritism from time to time but we hope by the end of this lesson that you’ll realize we are all just sinners saved by grace. Nobody is above anybody else and while we may differ in our economic status, race, social position etc. we all have common ground when it comes to the gospel!

Let’s all start living out the 2 greatest commandments that have been given to us:  Love the Lord with all your heart, soul and mind and love your neighbor as yourself.
